Rescued by firefighters, man faces attempted murder, arson charges

Details of the case are not clear, but a man pulled from his burning home was arrested

OLATHE, Kan. — Olathe firefighters pulled a man from a burning home earlier this month.  Now he’s facing charges of attempted murder and arson.

Firefighters found William Outhet on the second floor of the house near 123rd and Martway.  He ended up in the hospital.

Outhet lived in the house with a roommate. Now, police say Outhet is facing charges, but they’re not releasing details of the case just yet.
