San Antonio fire engineer dies of heart attack


Duty Death: Roger Dennis - [San Antonio, Texas]


SAN ANTONIO — A 34-year veteran fire engineer died Friday, apparently from a heart attack.

Roger Dennis Jr., 55, was on duty at Fire Station 40 in San Antonio when he became ill and was taken to a hospital, according to the United States Fire Administration. Dennis passed away the same day.

Funeral services for Fire Engineer Dennis will be held Friday in Live Oak, Texas.
