Pa. firefighter dies at firehouse

Duty Death: Richard Burns - [Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania]


PITTSBURGH — A 43-year-old firefighter died at his Pa. firehouse Saturday.

Nine-year-veteran Richard Burns, of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire, was found dead by fellow firefighters from a cause still to be determined.

To date, 49 firefighter fatalities have been reported to the USFA in 2008.
