San Antonio hotel evacuated for CO leak

The Associated Press

SAN ANTONIO — A woman and her toddler are doing fine after a San Antonio hotel was evacuated because of a carbon monoxide leak.

More than 200 guests and staff of the Hotel Mimosa Riverwalk were told to leave early Sunday after a guest complained of nausea and a headache.

The leak was soon contained. Fire department spokeswoman Deborah Foster says a report didn't indicate the source of the leak.

Foster says the woman and toddler were taken to a hospital and recovered by morning. Some hotel guests were moved to other lodgings. The rest returned to their rooms.
