| The City of Cedar Hill is currently accepting applications to fill immediate openings for Firefighter/ Paramedic. Applicants must be 21 years of age by closing date, have a high school diploma or GED, hold Texas Dept of State Health Services (DSHS) Paramedic certification, and have an honorable discharge from the military if applicable.
Hiring salary is $39,780 for Fire Recruits or $42,060 for Certified Paramedic/Firefighters plus an EXCEPTIONAL benefits package, including medical insurance for dependents, currently only $144 per month. Incentive pay for paramedic is $900 annually and certificate/education pay up to $1200 annually.
