Job Description
|
| A Firefighter/EMT performs protective service work involving fire suppression, rescue, basic life support, salvage and/or fire prevention; Operates and maintains fire, rescue and EMS apparatus and equipment; Conducts fire prevention inspections and related work; Assists in fire investigation activities; Attends training sessions; Performs basic life support emergency care; Conducts full range of fire suppression duties; Performs salvage operations; Performs rescues from hazardous sites; Responds and performs during fire and rescue calls; Provides immediate emergency care to ill or injured persons; Supports advanced life support unit operations; Conducts training sessions.

Additional Requirement :
These are entry level positions. We provide all training at our Fire & Rescue Training Academy while offering full salary and benefits. Preference is given to individuals who hold ALS certifications.
Our selection process includes a written test, candidate physical ability test (CPAT), interview, background check and polygraph. We provide a free 8-week CPAT mentoring program to prepare individuals to pass the physical ability test.
