| Tempest Technology, Inc. is the leading manufacturer of ventilation products used by fire departments around the world for Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV). Tempest is seeking a qualified salesperson to develop and oversee its sales network in the Central United States. The Central Region is our fastest growing market and offers tremendous growth potential for a motivated and disciplined salesperson.
The Tempest Technology product lines include the Tempest Power Blower, Ventmaster Fire Rescue Saw, Mobile Ventilation Unit, Shadow Smoke Machine, and Tempest Fireco Towers product line.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage the Tempest distribution network of fire equipment dealers, fire apparatus dealers and apparatus manufacturers.
Educate dealer salespeople about the features and benefits of the Tempest product line and support dealer sales efforts in the territory.
Travel with Tempest dealer salespeople and train them on how to effectively demonstrate and sell Tempest products.
Attend regional and national trade shows to exhibit Tempest products and support dealer sales efforts.
Assist Tempest dealers with demonstrations and training of fire departments on the use and application of Tempest products.
Conduct hands-on product demonstrations for fire departments and other emergency services customers.
Up to 50% travel within the territory. Occasional travel for national trade shows and company meetings in California.
Work independently from a home-based office.

Required Skills
Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience giving presentations of a semi-technical nature to a professional audience.
Strong time management skills and experience using contact management software.
Experience working national and regional trade shows.
Experience managing and supporting a dealer network.
Experience conducting hands-on product demonstrations.
Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
