| Basic FF/EMT (Basic or Paramedic)
Be fully Certified with TX Fire Commission as Basic FF AND fully Certified with TX Department of Health as EMT
OR
Be fully certified or licensed with TX Department of Health as a Paramedic
NOTE: Out of State applicants must determine their Texas certifiability with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and Texas Department of Health
Must possess current valid driver's license
Must be at least 19 years of age & meet all eligibility requirements of Section 143.023 of the Texas Fire and Police Civil Service Law
