Job Description
|
| Must provide proof of certification with TX Fire Commission as Basic FireFighter & be fully certified with TX Dept of Health as EMT--OR-- certified or licensed with TX Dept of Health as Paramedic. Must possess current valid driver's license. Must be between 21-35 yrs of age at time of appointment as a FF & meet all elligibility requirements of Section 143.023 of TX Fire & Police Civil Service Law. Must meet all physical requirements. Must be US Citizen. Must possess a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Must have a copy of High school Diploma or GED.

| Applications may be picked up at Town Center or downloaded from our website. Applications will be accepted September 2, 2008 through October 3, 2008 at the DeSoto Town Center from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. The Deadline for applications is October 3, 2008 at 5pm.
Copy of HS Diploma or GED, Driver's License, Texas Basic Firefighter/EMT or Texas Paramedic certificatin, and (if applicable) certificate reflecting highest level of education and "Member 4" copy of DD214 reflecting "Honorable Discharg" MUST be submitted with application.
