Appreciating our veterans on Veterans Day

There is no cause or job more honorable or essential than that of our United States military

By Tony Vitalie

On behalf of FireRecruit.com and FireRescue1.com I would like to take a moment to thank the men and women of our armed forces for their service and sacrifice. There is no cause or job more honorable or essential than that of our United States military. As the son of a Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean War as well as the parent of a soldier in the United States Army, I am filled with pride and respect for all who have served. Please know that your service to your country is very much appreciated. If you are a veteran, thank you. If you are not, take some time on Veterans Day to thank every veteran in your life.
