Mr. Ford is responsible for all business operations of the Praetorian Group and FireRescue1. A co-founder of the company, he has directed the development of Praetorian's public safety initiatives from inception and is currently focusing on broadening and improving FireRescue1's content, site features and market presence. He works closely with the current and former firefighters on the FireRescue1 team and advisory boards. His experience ranges from business strategy and marketing to technology and product development.
Mr. Ford's background spans technology, e-Commerce and high-level business strategy. He has led the development and introduction of a number of new technologies to the public safety market and has held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Praetorian Group for the past seven years. Prior to founding Praetorian, he was a consultant with Mercer Management Consulting and Corporate Decisions, Inc., advising multiple Fortune 100 companies, including GM, IBM and Harley-Davidson. He has also worked in Investment Banking, having spent time in the Real Estate Finance Group at Smith Barney Inc.
Mr. Ford is a graduate of Dartmouth College. He lives in San Francisco, California and was born and raised in Salem, Massachusetts.
