SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Pupils at a school in N.Y. paid moving tribute to the fallen of 9/11 Tuesday by forming a human flag.
The dean of Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School said that the students discussed what terror attacks meant to them and they collectively decided to dress in red, white and blue to form a flag on the school's front yard, according to CNN.
Each grade level was assigned a color to make the flag to make the 11th anniversary of the attacks. Once in formation, the students and teachers recited the Pledge of Allegiance, which was followed by a rendition of taps by the school's music teacher and a moment of silence.
