When pushing a dash with a hydraulic ram, don't bother with making a relief cut at the base of the jamb. Simply push the dash back to its original position and remove the ram. The dash will stay in place, and there will be enough room to remove the patient. Relief cuts will cause the dash to fall back down if the ram is removed.
