ST. REGIS FALLS, N.Y. — An icy driveway made St. Regis firefighters’ job more difficult as they prepared to douse a fully-ablaze home with water Saturday morning.
After their first truck slid back almost 1,000 feet as firefighters tried to drive it up the incline to the burning house, the water supply was set up at nearby Deer Valley Trails restaurant, Fire Chief Wilbur Bailey said.

Parker SheehanTuesday, January 08, 2013 10:29:01 AMI must agree with you Steve. It would just have been nice to see a photo of the aftermath. As the saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words." This may have been a good picture to see.
