KWTX

WACO, Texas —Two Waco firefighters underwent medical evaluation Wednesday night after they were burned fighting a South Waco house fire.

Units were sent at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to a house in the 1700 block of South 18th Street where initial reports indicated there may have been someone trapped inside a burning house.

When firefighters arrived they learned the occupants had escaped without injury but as they battled the blaze, two firefighters were burned.
