LONG VIEW, N.C. — Firefighters in Long View pulled a man from a burning home on Saturday. Eyewitness News was there as they rushed a disabled man to an ambulance seconds after getting him to safety.
Eyewitness News talked with firefighters who made the rescue and the wife of the man trapped by the flames. Firefighters said from the time they got the call to arriving at the home it took them only about 90 seconds.
As they rushed to get there, they got word a 71-year-old was still inside.
