SAN JOSE, Calif. — Two firefighters are recovering today after suffering minor burn injuries while battling a blaze that caused heavy damage to a San Jose home, according to a captain with the San Jose Fire Department.
The two firefighters were injured Monday afternoon while battling a two-alarm blaze at a home on Holly Drive, located near the San Jose Country Club, according to fire Capt. Rob Brown.
The firefighters suffered "minor burn injuries" and were taken to a hospital, where they were treated and released, Brown said. Brown could not comment on the specific condition of the firefighters but did say both are expected to recover from their injuries.
