Mich. firefighters battle 2-alarm factory blaze
A forklift propane tank caught fire and exploded; the fire was brought under control within 20 minutes

TROY, Mich. — Molten metal ignited a twoalarm blaze that caused an explosion at a large industrial plant on Meijer Drive at 5:45 pm. Jan. 21.
When firefighters arrived at the Sulzer Metco facility, all employees had already evacuated. Troy fire Lt. Chuck Riesterer said the fire involved a propane-powered hi-lo.
