Pa. firefighter in critical condition after house fire

The Associated Press

GROVE CITY, Pa. — One person is dead and two volunteer firefighters have been burned in a house fire in Grove City.

The fire broke out about 6 a.m. Friday.

Firefighters say they got into the home, but the fire was too intense to rescue the person inside.

Grove City Fire Chief Jack Badger says the firefighters were flown to the burn unit at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Authorities are not releasing the name of the victim or the firefighters who are hurt. It was later reported one of the injured firefighters was in a critical condition while the other's condition was stable.
