Video: Firefighters top police in burger eating contest

The firefighters won a $1,000 donation to a burn charity

SAVANNAH, Ga. — Ga. Firefighters beat out their police officer competitors in this year's burger eating contest.

Southside firefighters took part in the third annual B&D Burgers Guns versus Hoses burger eating challenge Friday, according to Savannah Now.

Each department had a five-person team and were challenged to see which team could have two people finish a three-pound burger.

B&D pledged a $1,000 donation to a charity of the inning team's choice. The winning firefighters chose the Southeastern Firefighters Burn Foundation.
