NC dept. spends millions on radio equipment, can't use it
Because of limited availability frequencies, the dept. has not been able to transition to their new equipment

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. — Brunswick County's fire departments have $2 million worth of radio equipment that, for now, is worthless.
"We have a brand new operating system we can't use," said Anthony Marzano, county EMS director.
