EAST PEMBROKE, N.Y. — A car rammed into a N.Y. firehouse Thursday, causing enough damage for it to be shut down for as long as two weeks.
The vehicle was heading east down a road when it crossed over into the westbound lane then slammed into a median and went airborne and flew into the East Pembroke Fire Hall.
The woman driving the car blacked out at the wheel because of a medical condition, according to WGRZ.
She was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
While repairs are made to the firehouse, fire trucks are being kept at nearby towing company.

Ann StrubleSat Nov 17 07:11:37 PST 2012 Fire vehicles is perfectly legit...many suburban NY firestations have multiple types of vehicles in their stations. Dont be so judgemental.
