Poison's Bret Michaels pays tribute to firefighter cousin who saved his life

The singer says the Detroit firefighter saved his life when he went into diabetic insulin shock when he was a child

DETROIT, Mich.— Bret Michaels, Poison frontman took to Twitter to pay tribute to his Detroit firefighter cousin who died Friday.

Michaels says that Firefighter Bob Sychak saved his life when he was a child after he went into diabetic insulin shock, Mlive reports.

It is unclear how Firefighter Sychak died.
