Cindy Demitroff Stull Cindy Demitroff Stull Sunday, June 29, 2014 10:12:20 PM My hometown fire department is trying to raise $500,000.00 to build a new fire station. The town is Lehigh, IA and the community alone, is not able to fund this much needed building. Are there grants available that could help them? I have read through the information but this is a little above my area of expertise. I don't live in Lehigh anymore but I would like to help them obtain a grant or help them fund raise in any way I can. I served on the Iowa Commission for Volunteer Services for 8 years and have been an active volunteer for our state, donating 2000 per year to help numerous charities. I'm a retired school teacher and I'm not afraid of hard work but the amount they need to raise is staggering to me. Is there anyone that can help us to find the money needed?
