Teenage Canadian firefighter dies in structure collapse

Officials have released the name of the young firefighter who died Sunday while fighting a blaze in Val-des-Monts.

Andre Manseau, 18, died in Wakefield Hospital around 5:20 p.m. after colleagues tried to revive him using CPR.

Debris from a house fire at 5 Val-des-Lac Rd. fell on him when part of the garage collapsed.
