Modified QUIC-FLIP unit: Store self-contained breathing apparatus on any flat shelf out of the way until needed for donning SCBA.
Pull the release pin to rotate the unit 90 degrees from the stored position. Pull another pin and the unit drops down to the donning position. Flips are preset to swing left out of the stored position.

The modified QUIC-FLIP holder is ideal for use on engine compartments and Mattydales to hold SCBA in horizontal position in its WALKAWAY bracket. The unit is similar to the standard model, but does not include a base plate. Instead, the modified holder flips up from the horizontal storage position to a vertical position, with SCBA ready for donning. Firefighter can simply stand on the step, flip up the unit, and slip on SCBA. Also useful in rescue vehicles.
