EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. Receives $1.5 Million Order from DoD Customer

Company to Provide Additional P25 Compliant Radios on Trunked IP25(TM) Infrastructure System

IRVING, Texas, -- EF Johnson Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:EFJI) announced today that it has again been selected by a major systems integrator to provide Project 25 compliant radios. This is a $1.5 million follow-on order for a Department of Defense customer in support of the war on terrorism. The radios will be used on the company's Trunked IP25(TM) Infrastructure System.

"Our system provides extensive trunked radio voice communications capability to support our customer's daily operations," said Michael Jalbert, chairman and chief executive officer of EF Johnson Technologies. "We are providing additional Project 25 compliant radios for their personnel. This new order puts more radios into their hands and assists in helping them to complete their mission."
