AristaTek Announces the PEAC-WMD 2007 Software for Windows and the Pocket PC

IP Access International joins Nomad Technologies providing satellite technology solutions

LARAMIE, WY - The PEAC-WMD 2007 software has some new and exciting features to support the First Responder when dealing with both Hazmat and CBRNE events.

The latest release (version 5.6) now includes standoff distances for hazardous fragmentation threat caused by shrapnel or projectiles being thrown from the blast. The Explosion Calculator computes the standoff distances for the hazardous fragmentation threat caused by shrapnel or projectiles being thrown from a blast. The fragmentation calculations conform to the US NAVY EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) algorithms and guidelines.

The first addition, which is not obvious unless an individual examines things closely, is the significant increase in the number of new substances added to the comprehensive database. This primarily focuses on TICs/TIMs that have been added to increase the database beyond 100,000 entries.

Another addition to the database is the inclusion of the EPA AEGLs (Acute Exposure Guideline Levels) for a large number of the TICs/TIMs and chemical warfare agents.
