Video: Chief gives tour of new rescue vehicles

The new trucks replace Ford vehicles, which had become unreliable

JOHNSTON, R.I. — As part of the ongoing upgrades to town public safety equipment — and following the Johnston Police Department's acquisition of two new police cruisers — the Johnston Fire Department recently took deliver of two new rescue vehicles.

Designated Rescue 1 and Rescue 3, the new trucks replace Ford vehicles that had become unreliable, according to Mayor Joseph Polisena.
