Rosenbauer acquires Slovenian apparatus maker

Rosenbauer plans to consolidate manufacturing operations

LEONGING, Austria — Austrian listed fire-fighting equipment maker Rosenbauer has signed a contract for the takeover of a 90-percent stake of Slovenian fire-engine manufacturer Mettis International d.o.o.

The acquisition had been announced some time ago (on 21 November). Mettis posted a revenue of EUR 6.4 million (USD 8.32 million) last year.

After the takeover Rosenbauer is going to consolidate its new acquisition with its other facility in Gornja Radgona.
