NFPA Journal Features New Effort to Preserve History of Cocoanut Grove Fire on Its 70th Anniversary

November 14, 2012 – The latest issue of NFPA Journal®, the official magazine of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), features a retrospective on the 70th anniversary of Boston’s Cocoanut Grove nightclub fire, one of the deadliest in U.S. history where 492 people died as a result of the fire.

The NFPA cover story, which details the events leading up to and following the historic tragedy, takes a look at the newly formed coalition which seeks to gather documents, artifacts and stories from the fire. View video interviews with survivors
