The Blackjack Helmet Flashlight Holder Inventor Featured on CNBC’s “ The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch”

Phoenix, AZ – Chris McCorkle, inventor of the BlackJack Helmet Flashlight Holder was invited to be a guest on The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch in late December 2007. McCorkle, a veteran Phoenix firefighter was on The Big Idea’s “Road to CES” series and had the chance to call into the show via a live web-cam. “ What a great opportunity to be selected out of thousands of small business owners to be on The Big Idea. The show is inspiring and offers such great exposure for products just like the BlackJack”, says McCorkle.

Media focus came this month in a surprise photo as well in Men’s Health magazine’s March issue. A feature story was written on a fellow Phoenix firefighter’s workout and he is photographed in his turnouts wearing his helmet and attached is the BlackJack flashlight holder. In the past 4 months, Baton Rouge Fire Department and Phoenix Fire Department have placed significant orders to supply the BlackJack as standard issue. 1445 Designs, the maker of the BlackJack and the company of which McCorkle is president is also developing the BlackJack for the European market, which he expects to begin selling the BlackJack to in late 2008.
