EFJohnson Infrastructure Offering Enhances Network Management System and more
IRVING, Tex – August 4, 2006 – EFJ, Inc. (NASDAQ: EFJI) announced today that its EFJohnson subsidiary has introduced a new release that enhances its Trunked IP25™ Infrastructure System. Key features of this new release include upgrades to the Network Management System, remote radio disable functionality, and an optional IP25 Viewer application.

The Network Management System now has a browser-based graphical user interface which is easy to use and customize, and has robust management capabilities. Our remote radio disable feature, which some in the industry refer to as Selective Radio Inhibit, prohibits a lost or stolen subscriber unit from operating on the system. The IP25 Viewer application is the optional performance management module of the Network Management System, which collects and monitors system data, communications, and network components. We have already begun shipping this new release," Jalbert added.
