This 'multi-mission' mini-emergency response vehicle (MERV) is equipped with a Honda powered Darley / Davey two-stage fire pump, a Scotty "around-the-pump" Class - A foam system, Hannay hose reel with electric rewind of the 100-Ft. 3/4" booster hose, 55 gallons of water and a separate 5 gallon foam cell. The custom designed enclosure insures this fire / rescue skid unit perfectly fits the cargo bed dimensions and capacities of the 4010 Trans4X4 Mule. After mounting the insert, the dealer arranged to have emergency lights and a siren professionally installed. The end result was a true "Turn-Key" delivery for Barnwell County's EMA Director, Mr. Roger Riley.
This emergency off-road utility vehicle is housed at a centrally located EMA facility in Barnwell, SC. It's available for dispatch and deployment 24/7 to assist all County, State or Federal agencies; including the US Dept. of Defense at the Savannah River Plant which occupies approximately one-third of western Barnwell County.
