ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Defense Group Inc. (DGI) announces the release of the new CoBRA Command Post X – the most recent version of the CoBRA Software loaded on an ultra-rugged Itronix XR-1 computer. The XR-1 has the computing power you need in a laptop, including integrated wireless capabilities and an integrated GPS receiver. In addition, it is rugged enough to be de-contaminated and is vibration safe up to helicopter standards.

With the announcement of the new Command Post X, we will be discontinuing our current CoBRA Command Post featuring the Itronix GoBOOK III. Itronix has announced they will no longer be manufacturing the GoBOOK III after the end of this year. Consequently, we are unable to accept orders for the Command Post featuring the GoBOOK III after December 31, 2006. This computer will be supported by both CoBRA and Itronix for several years so there is no risk to purchasing the GoBOOK III system prior to this date.

Both computers are available with the CoBRA Kit Option (printer, scanner, digital camera, and power inverter packaged in a hard sided case) to give you full office capability in the field. We will be accepting orders for the new Command Post X immediately.
