GETAC Announces P470 Rugged Notebook PC at GTC West

Mobile Pros Will Appreciate Its Light, Rugged Chassis and Security Features

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - GETAC Inc., a pioneering manufacturer of rugged computers that meet the demands of field-based applications, today introduced the P470. GETAC made the announcement during the Government Technology Conference-West (GTC West) show, at the Sacramento Convention Center through May 18 (Booth #1402).

The GETAC P470 joins a full array of semi-rugged, rugged and fully rugged PCs expressly created for mobile computer users whose jobs demand a full-feature PC in a sturdy yet compact enclosure. Standard security features include the TPM 1.2 Trust Platform Module, Kensington lock, fingerprint scanner access control and Smart Card reader for worry-free secure transactions. Also available are a full range of wireless options, including WWAN, WLAN and Bluetooth.
