LaCrosse Footwear Announces New Station Boot Series

PORTLAND, Ore. – The LaCrosse Station Boot Series provides the ultimate support for every station, style, and situation at hand, utilizing LaCrosse’s proven Quad Comfort® technology. Handcrafted from the industry’s finest materials with full-grain, black polishable leather, the new series offer three styles that are built to last.

LaCrosse developed the Station Boot Series with Quad Comfort technology for people who demand performance from their feet all day. The platform system consists of four layers of cushioning to reduce foot fatigue and provide unmatched comfort and support. The most unique component of the platform is Quad Core™, which provides cushioning throughout the insole board itself with additional heel and forefoot cushioned shock pads on the hard insole boards, for maximum pressure relief. In addition, an EVA footbed provides arch support required for the many hours on the job.

The following new Station Boot Series provides a boot to match every need:

The Responder 8-inch side-zip station boot features all non-metallic hardware complimented with the easy entry/exit option of a YKK side zipper, for a snug and supportive fit. LaCrosse’s waterproof Hyper-dri® liner keeps feet dry in all emergency response conditions. The Responder is available in non-metallic toe or plain toe options, with a non-marking TPU oil-and-slip resistant outsole to ensure that every step is secure. A non-metallic toe is ideal to reduce heat and cold penetrating the boot, so that a responder is not affected by dramatic temperature influences during an emergency.

The 4.5-inch Halon provides easy entry and exit as a slip-on station boot. The boot features a lightweight TPU oil-and-slip resistant and non-marking outsole to provide great traction support in slippery conditions inside and out. The station boot is offered with plain toe or steel toe options for additional protection depending on the demands of the job.

Lastly, the Halligan 11-inch slip-on boot rounds out LaCrosse’s new station boot offerings. The Halligan is a traditional unlined welted Wellington style boot that features all the comfort and support of a today’s technologies – from a polyurethane midsole for substantial cushioning – to an oil-and-slip resistant and non-marking outsole. Steel toe protection is available as an additional safeguard.

All steel toe and non-metallic toe options are guaranteed to meet or exceed ASTM/ANSI specifications. The station boots are available in men’s sizes 7-14M, 8-14W (with half sizes to 12). The Responder is available for a suggested price from $143, the Halon is available from $102, and the Halligan is available from $113.
