Terrain Dynamics Announces Specialized Driver Training For Fire and EMS Departments

Philomont & Orange VA-Terrain Dynamics provides off-highway driver training to fire and EMS departments nationwide as well as state wildlife, forestry and law enforcement agencies.

Terrain Dynamics was born out of the needs of various departments and agencies whose theatre of operations often involves the use of specialized vehicles and equipment in harsh and often dangerous off road conditions.

Terrain Dynamics believes fire, EMS and law enforcement departments and agencies deserve the same specialized training its instructors give the United States Military. After all, the specialized vehicles these organizations depend upon are not just transportation; they’re important life-saving tools as well.

The operation of fire apparatus while fighting wild land fires and state game and wildlife vehicles engaged in law enforcement puts personnel and equipment in challenging and often life threatening positions far away from any road. The ability to get both on-scene and off requires specialized and vital driving and recovery skills that are so often times neglected in a department and/or agency training program. Skills that bring personnel and vehicle home safely.

Training programs are conducted in classroom and on their private training facility in Virginia or on-site throughout the country.
