Kentucky -- Emergency Equipment has delivered All Terrain Res-Q - Patient Transport Trailers to Kentucky's Region 2 for their Hospital Preparedness Program. These trailers are going to nine west-central Kentucky counties for service with the regions'
Mass-Casualty, Weapons of Mass-Destruction (WMD), HAZMAT,
and Bio-Terrorism (BT) response units. A 3-hour orientation session
will be conducted on-site for their key personnel. The session will cover the following patient transportation trailer applications:

o MCI Response, WMD/BT, Weather and Transportation Emergencies
o HAZMAT Victim Haul Out (from "Hot Zone" to Decon)
o RIT / Team Evacuation (rescue downed personnel)
o Casualty Collection (wide area rapid coverage)
o Patient Relocation (triage site to ambulance)
o Fatality Management (single person operations)
o Equipment Management (on-site assets relocation)
