BIO-key® Awarded Contract for FireRMS™ Mobile by Cleveland Heights, OH

City deploys BIO-key products to the field; furthering the departments efficiency

WALL, N.J.  – BIO-key International Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BKYI), a leader in wireless public safety solutions and finger based biometric identification today announced that Cleveland Heights, Ohio has selected BIO-key’s FireRMS™ Mobile product. The city’s Fire Department will use BIO-key’s Mobile application to expand their records management capabilities to include remote field data collection and reporting.  The FireRMS Mobile units will support Cleveland Heights’ goal of enhancing operational productivity.

By incorporating BIO-key’s FireRMS™ Mobile application Cleveland Heights will enhance their existing FireRMS™ solution with a completely mobile field data collection and reporting capability for building inspections. The remote reporting capability will allow inspectors to collect inspection information, capture occupant signatures, send it wirelessly and securely back to headquarters.  Inspectors can print reports on-site in real-time, eliminating lag time and redundant data entry inherent with paper systems. Cleveland Heights plans to utilize FireRMS Mobile advanced EMS capabilities in the near future.

“Our FireRMS customers continue to realize the value of remote data capture and reporting capabilities freeing up valuable resources and ensuring that the best information is available for firefighter safety. FireRMS™ Mobile is the ideal solution for fire inspectors, emergency response departments, EMS providers, incident commanders, hydrant inspectors and anyone else interested in leveraging their existing FireRMS™ solution,” said Anthony Barone, Vice President and General Manager of BIO-key’s Fire Safety and EMS Division.
