The life-saving Last Chance Rescue Filter (LCRF) is a small device, weighing less then one pound, and is packed into an outer Nomex Carry Pouch (included at no additional cost) which attaches directly to the harness. Inside the Nomex Pouch the LCRF is protected in a moisture-resistant, vacuum-sealed barrier pouch which is to remain completely sealed until use. Please refer to your manual on the routine inspection procedures of the vacuum seal to ensure your LCRF will fully protect you in an emergency situation. If the LCRF is at anytime exposed to the environment the 15 minute of respiratory protection begins. It is a one-time use device to be used in an emergency situation where protection is needed against an IDLH environment.
