APCO Institute Debuts New Training Product

DAYTONA BEACH, Fl. - The APCO Institute today announced the release of their newest curriculum offerings - Video-Based Training Programs.  These new programs are offered by the APCO Institute in connection with the Fire and Emergency Training Network (FETN) and the Law Enforcement Training Network (LETN).  Topics include TTY Call Recognition and Processing, Answering Suicidal Callers and AMBER Alerts.

Each APCO Institute Video-Based Training Program is designed to be used repeatedly to train your entire staff including any new hires as needed and includes a 25-minute training video, supplementary training materials, a lesson plan including objectives and synopsis, topic information, case studies, reference materials and student exams and answer keys.

"The APCO Institute is pleased to offer these new programs and to expand the training available to today's public safety communications personnel by offering the most up to date cost effective training possible," APCO Institute Director Candice Solie said.
