Biggest Firefighter Fest in the Midwest!

SIOUX FALLS, SD – The Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge will travel to the Sioux Falls Arena from May 30th to May 31st to determine the Midwest Champion. Hundreds of firefighters from across the country will travel to race head-to-head wearing full bunker gear and the SCOTT Air-Pak breathing apparatus as they simulate the physical demands of real-life firefighting by performing a linked series of tasks.

The Challenge seeks to encourage firefighter fitness and demonstrate the profession's rigors to the public. Aside from the exciting competition, there will be a number of public events, including two free concerts, the onsite Midwest RibFest, and Firefighter Appreciation Night at a Semi-Pro Sioux Falls Canaries Baseball game.

There will be plenty of resources for firefighters, including a free seminar featuring two-time World Champion Brandon Cunningham on how to improve performance during the challenge. All events will be within walking distance of the Sioux Falls Sheridan Hotel.
