Demand for DigitalPatroller DP-2 Continues to Rise
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC - Since launching at the IACP show in Boston last October, demand for Integrian’s DigitalPatroller DP-2 has continued to climb. DP-2 is a video surveillance system built for police cars and other Public Safety vehicles. Integrian launched the DP-2 model last fall to answer customer requirements for 4-camera simultaneous recording, additional audio inputs, higher resolution cameras and other advanced features. Oakland CA Police, Tampa FL Police, MO State Highway Patrol and others responded with orders for both upgrades and new deployments.
Along with hardware upgrades, DP-2 offers an expanded software suite for managing, viewing and transferring the video data. As new versions are released, DP-2 is designed to update automatically every time vehicles enter the docking area, so the fleet is always current with no out-of-service time for software installations.
Oakland and Jefferson City are in good company. Agencies in California, Texas, Florida, Wisconsin, New Jersey and other areas are now equipped with DigitalPatroller DP-2 systems, and thousands of units are on order. Integrian has ramped up production to meet the demand. “We have literally doubled production month over month,” explained Matt Mikula, Integrian’s V.P. of Global Operations. “We have primed our supply chain and manufacturing is working 24x7. Still, our top priority is quality, and extraordinary measures are being taken to maintain the highest standards even as we race to keep up with demand.”
