STEVENS POINT, WI – Gamber-Johnson, renowned manufacturer of rugged mobile docking stations and vehicle mounts, announces the release of the new Panasonic Toughbook 08 Docking Station.

The Toughbook Tested CF08 Docking Station is warranted to Toughbook standards and tested for compatibility and functionality with the Panasonic CF08 computer. The docking stations offers 4 USB ports, 1 Ethernet port and a power input jack to be used with the Lind Power Supply (Item No. 11798).  The CF08 docking station was designed with usability in mind as exhibited by its simple docking action. Users simply insert the CF08 computer into the docking station and close by firmly pushing down on the top supports on the dock until the user hears the “snap” of the activation button. To undock the computer, users press the activation button to release the top supports and then pull the computer out of the dock.

Designed with user safety in mind, the CF08 docking station has rounded edges to enhance personal safety. In addition, the docking station’s internal/protected circuit board helps to prevent dirt and dust from damaging the electronics located in the docking station. Heavy gauge steel construction and a black powdercoat finish ensure long-term durability and maximum corrosion resistance. The CF08 docking station is also backed by a three-year limited warranty (printed circuit board, docking connector and all sheet metal).

For tilt and swivel capabilities, users can choose any one of Gamber-Johnson’s Motion Attachments (sold separately).  The Motion Attachment connects the computer docking station to the vehicle mounting system and provides tilt, swivel, extension and slide capabilities to enhance usability and ergonomics.  See Gamber-Johnson’s full line of Vehicle Bases and Poles to complete your mounting system.

Some additional accessories are available for the CF08 docking station.  An easily mounted wall bracket (Item No. 7160-0059), which attaches to the back of the CF08 docking station, can be used for flat vertical surface applications. The compatible keyboard support and mounting bracket (Item No. 7160-0058) can also be used to enhance typing capability.
