Fire/EMS providers put themselves on the front lines of danger everyday in order to save and protect the lives of others. However, there is another essential goal: getting home safely at the end of the day.

The IAFC/IAFF have designated June 22 - 28 as the 2008 Fire/EMS Safety, Health and Survival Week, in an effort to institute a strong culture of health and safety within the Fire/EMS service.
