Late Tuesday night, crews left the station, and officials say they believe people were waiting for firefighters to leave so they could sneak in and steal the TV, according to WishTV.
Other personnel were in the building at the time of the theft, but were asleep. The thieves had left the firehouse before crew was able to park the truck.
One of the suspects has been described as a petite white female, a 6-foot-tall black male, and 6-foot-tall white male.

Marsha KentFriday, December 07, 2012 11:22:00 AMWhat a crock. People are so crazy and careless. I bet they might have let the people come watch tv with them if they didn't have one but REALLY? STEAL the FIRE STATION's TV when they go out on a call while you are stalking the place?
Milissa SmartFriday, December 07, 2012 11:38:08 AMTotal BS I hope they are caught and stoned to death to steal is low but to steal from people that risk their lives for your safety is beyond ok.
Jeff HesterFriday, December 07, 2012 11:42:30 AMWe had that at a department around us. The homeless waited and raided the fridge when the crew was out.
