Drunk plows into crash scene, injures FF/paramedic

While assisting another DUI driver, a second driver crashed into the scene


PALM BAY, Fla. — A firefighter/paramedic and a civilian were injured after being struck by a drunk driver.

Police say the firefighter/paramedic and a witness were assisting a DUI driver who was asleep behind the wheel at an intersection when a second drunk driver crashed into the scene, according to WFTV.

Both the firefighter/paramedic and witness were hit and rushed to the hospital. They are expected to make a full recovery.

Both drivers were arrested for DUI. The second driver may face additional charges.
