LOS ANGELES — A fire captain in Los Angeles suffered a medical emergency and died Tuesday.
Fire Capt. David Bailey, 50, a firefighter for 18 years, was engaging in physical fitness activities in Santa Clarita, Calif., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Capt. Bailey was reportedly leading training with some inmate/wildland firefighters at the time of his death.
