Tina Ravyn NewmanTuesday, December 18, 2012 6:01:00 PMBrothers, Sisters, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. You have other Brothers and Sisters out here who will listen to anything you need to say. Please, don't be too proud or too scared to reach out for an ear or a shoulder or a helping hand. We're all here for you.
Charles ChapmanThursday, December 20, 2012 4:08:10 AMI have had to go through CISD twice. It is real important that you look out for each other. Everyone is going to process this differently and it important to get treatment early if anyone is showing signs of PTSD. Firefighters as a group try and be tough but if you know one of your own is challenged then you need to seek help. We had to get additional counseling as "group" because one of own what having challenges but would not admit it. We got him to go to the group session to help "us." Do what you have to get others the help they need. We need you whole to be able to continue protecting your community. Be safe Brothers and Sisters!
